Bingo Supplies

In order to play bingo at home, supplies are necessary. There is a myriad of bingo supplies available. Some of the most necessary products are as follows.

Bingo Paper

Bingo paper actually means bingo cards. Players can buy different books and the “papers” have different numbers of cards on them and different numbers of rows and columns. Some papers have die-cut numbers, which means that players can fold them over as they are called. Some papers also only have one card on them. Bingo paper allows players to change numbers as often as they like.

Cards

Players can also buy bingo cards. These are often made from either sturdier paper/cardboard or from plastic. There are slide cards which allow players to cover the called numbers without having to deal with chips or daubers.

Cages

Bingo cages are what hold the balls to be called. These vary in level of complexity. There are basic cages that the dealer spins and simply draws balls out of. Other cages have boards which hold the balls attach. Some of these cages also have a feature that automatically rolls the balls back into the cage. These work well for senior citizens or people with disabilities.

Bingo Kits

Cages often come in bingo kits as well. The kits include most of the supplies a person will need for a game such as a cage, balls, cards, markers and maybe even daubers or a master board. There are also bingo blowers that rotate the balls automatically. The kits are often themed as well: there are patriotic kits and kits for island parties. Sometimes themed kits even include party decorations.

Chips

Bingo chips come in a variety of textures and colors. Most often they are made from plastic and are either transparent or solid. There are also magnetic chips. These usually come with a magic wand that picks them up.

Monitors/Cameras

Serious bingo players can buy special cameras or monitors to show players the numbers that are called. This serves two purposes: it assures the honesty of the deal and allows players who may not hear well to know what numbers have been called.
